The DLGI has successfully introduced an European IT certification standard by implementing the ECDL [1] , the European Computer Driving Licence, in Germany.
Professional soft­ware tes­ting is an in­cre­a­sin­gly im­port­ant func­tion that de­mands a solid foun­da­tion of trai­ning and qualification. DLGI also conducts the Cer­ti­fie­d-Tes­ter [2] Pro­gramme, a  world­wide re­co­g­ni­sed stan­dard qua­li­fi­ca­tion scheme for soft­ware tes­ters.
